COVID-19: Our Status and Action Plan

Posted on: March 18, 2020

**UPDATE – 3/23/20**

We are still open at Wilson. We’ve received communications from many of our customers expressing their dependence on us in order to keep their critical businesses going. Because of the role we play in vital supply chains such as medical device manufacturing, food and beverage packaging, and more, Wilson has been deemed an essential business operation per the state of Missouri and U.S. Government guidelines. Our customers and people everywhere are dependent on the products that our tooling keeps in production, so we are staying open to fulfill those needs.

To keep our employees safe and healthy, Wilson Manufacturing has set guidelines that meet or exceed the restrictions set by each state regarding social distancing, work-at-home, or shelter-in-place orders. We will continue to follow those guidelines as we navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic.

A large amount of employees in manufacturing and distribution are continuing to work in order to meet the demands of operations that are critical and essential to the infrastructure of countries all over the world. We remain committed to the safety of our team members, and we will continue to monitor this situation on every level of our operations.

Finally, we want to say thank you to all of our team members at Wilson who have displayed incredible commitment and resilience through this situation. We will continue to provide updates on our response to COVID-19 as the situation changes.

**ORIGINAL RELEASE – 3/18/20**

The COVID-19 virus is presenting challenges for businesses in all industries due to supply chain disruption, closures, and event cancellations. We’ve been fielding a lot of questions from our customers over the past few days about how the virus is impacting our business. Here is our current status and plan for COVID-19:

  • Our plan is to remain fully operational. We are taking extra precautions to keep our facilities clean and sanitary so that our support and plant team members can continue to serve our customers. We have no plans to close our offices or plants at this time.
  • Our supply chain remains strong. Thanks to our diversified portfolio of raw material suppliers, we don’t foresee any disruptions that would impact our ability to deliver product as usual.

We will continue to monitor the situation daily and we will update our plan accordingly as the CDC and local governments provide additional recommendations. If any adjustments become necessary, we will be sure to make updates right away.

We are committed to helping our customers and partners weather this storm and are confident that we will all come out on the other side of this stronger than ever. Thank you for your continued partnership and trust in Wilson Manufacturing. If you are a current customer with further questions or concerns, please reach out to your sales or customer service representative.
